New Mexicans Invited To Attend Virtual Casting Call Webinar For Universal Pictures Movie To Be Filmed In Los Alamos

COUNTY News:

Last weekend, hundreds of Northern New Mexico locals attended casting calls for an upcoming Universal Pictures motion picture that will be filmed this spring in Los Alamos.

For anyone who missed the in-person casting calls, Casting New Mexico is offering a second chance to get involved with a virtual casting call webinar 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5.

The production will require actors to portray styles from the 1920s – 1930s. There is a need for locals, veterans or military roles, scientists, teachers/professors, college students/scholars, drivers, executives and military wives. All participants must be over the age of 18, and costume sizes are 36–44 for males and 0–12 for females.

“If you missed last weekend’s casting calls, this is your chance to still be a part of this incredible film with important ties to Los Alamos and New Mexico as a whole,” County Marketing Manager Kelly Stewart said. “We encourage all to register and attend and help us showcase Northern New Mexico on film.”

The webinar is free of charge and open to all New Mexicans interested in taking part in the film.
