From the Office of the Governor:

SANTA FE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham will host two town halls on public safety next week: one in Albuquerque Monday and another in Española Tuesday.

“More than 500 members of the Las Cruces community participated in our public safety forum on Thursday and we’re eager to keep this crucially important conversation going,” Gov. Lujan Grisham said. “The upcoming town halls in Albuquerque and Española will allow us to hear firsthand from residents about our state’s crime challenges and discuss ways we can work together to make our communities safer.”

The next town hall is 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, in the CNM Smith Brasher Hall at 717 University Blvd. SE in Albuquerque.

A town hall in Española will follow at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Northern New Mexico College Event Center, at 921 N. Paseo De Onate.

The events are open to the public and will be streamed live online on the Governor’s Facebook page.
