Newnam Is Best Predictor In June 18 Pace Race

ACRR News:

Brian Newnam was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held Tuesday on North Mesa at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds. He was 18 seconds off his predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were:

  • Steve Daly with a 27 second differential;
  • Paul Geimer with 1-year-old Iris Geimer recorded a 42 second difference and was also the first finisher in the 1-mile race at 7:15;
  • Julie Collins was 45 seconds off and was the best female finisher in the 1-mile distance with a time of 17:32; and
  • Catherine Hensley had a 48 second differential.

On the 3-mile course

  • Eric Anderson was the top finisher recording a 19:20; and
  • Madeline Harms had a 25:18 for first place female.

Next week’s race ist 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 at East Park next to the Los Alamos County Animal Shelter on East Road (N.M. 502). 1- and 3-mile paved courses will be available.
