News Alert:
Dr. Robert McClees, owner of Trinity Urgent Care in Los Alamos, contacted the Los Alamos Daily Post this evening to suggest as a public service to the community that the important information released by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham today regarding the COVID-19 be re-emphasized.
The governor advised residents to remain home (“self-isolate”) if they are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19 – fever, cough or trouble breathing – and to call the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) Coronavirus Hotline at 1.855.600.3453.
DO NOT go to the hospital, a doctor’s office or urgent care facility because that will cause the healthcare workers at those facilities to be isolated for 14 days.
It is very important that people who suspect they might have COVID-19 stay home and call the NMDOH Coronavirus Hotline at 1.855.600.3453 to receive instructions.
