In celebration of Veterans Day, the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (NMDCA) is proud to announce that New Mexico residents who serve or have served in the armed forces can visit each of NMDCA’s Museums and Historic Sites free of charge this Friday.
What: Any New Mexico resident providing satisfactory proof of current or past armed service will be admitted free to each of NMDCA’s 15 Museums and Historic Sites on Veterans Day. This program also covers the spouses and children of military veterans.
Additionally, the New Mexico Museum of Space History and the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum extend this program to cover all veterans, regardless of New Mexico residency. The New Mexico Museum of Space History also extends this program to National Guard personnel and first responders.
