NNMC Baccalaureate Degree Nursing Program Seeks Third Party Comments

ESPAÑOLA — The baccalaureate degree program in nursing (RN to BSN Program) at Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) in Española, is seeking written, third-party comments from the public and program stakeholders in preparation for an onsite accreditation review by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), scheduled for March 2-4, 2026.

The evaluation team will review the RN to BSN Program’s ability to meet the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs (amended 2024).

CCNE, an autonomous accrediting entity, is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education for the accreditation of baccalaureate, master’s, doctoral and certificate programs in the United States and its territories. 

Written third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE until Feb. 9, 2026. CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team before the accreditation site visit, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the NNMC RN to BSN Program.
