NNMC News:
Española — Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) announces free daily COVID-19 testing at the Ben Lujan Library parking area on its Española campus.
Testing is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week.
Those wanting to test must ENTER at the N. RAILROAD AVENUE entrance to the NNMC campus:
- Stay inside car and follow directions from testing personnel to library parking lot testing site; and
- After testing, exit campus via Paseo de Oñate.
The test is a simple, painless, self-collected saliva test. You will first cough several times (to keep the volunteers safe, cough into your sleeve) and then swab several places inside your mouth.
Results are available as quickly as 72 hours from test date.

IMPORTANT: Do not eat or drink for 1/2 hour before testing.
To provide this community COVID-19 testing service, Northern New Mexico College has partnered with Rio Arriba County, New Mexico Department of Health, New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, New Mexico National Guard, City of Española, Presbyterian Health Services and El Centro Family Health.
