The National Weather Service forecasts a strong storm in Arizona that will transport deep layer moisture to western and north central New Mexico today, where moderate to heavy snow will fall. The heaviest snow will fall along the west slopes and higher peaks of the mountains. Today’s high near 36 in Los Alamos with a 90 percent chance of daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
