‘Ode To The Mother Road’ Opens June 19 In Step Up Gallery

ART News:

Route 66, also known as the Mother Road, is 100 years old this year! Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library invited regional artists to create art to celebrate the centennial.

Artists responded to the call with over 60 art pieces. The art on display will include plein air paintings of scenes along what is now known as Historic Route 66, studio paintings imagining the past, and fabric quilts designed to honor the Mother Road.
