On the job in Los Alamos is Deputy Police Chief Jason Wardlow Herrera in his office recently at the Los Alamos Police Department at 2500 Trinity Dr. Wardlow Herrera began his law enforcement career in 2002 as a deputy sheriff with the Taos County Sheriff’s Department. He joined LAPD Sept. 25, 2006. In 2008, Wardlow Herrera was promoted to sergeant, in 2010 lieutenant and in 2012 commander.
