I want to thank the people of Los Alamos County for electing me to the UNM-LA Advisory Board. I won’t let you down!
It was great knocking doors this year and meeting so many of you, hearing your concerns regarding UNM-LA and other County issues.

The University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has confirmed the seriousness of a security incident –though perhaps worse than initially acknowledged. According to the hacker who contacted media, a breach of Penn’s systems resulted in approximately 1.2 million records of students, alumni and donors being exfiltrated. Yikes!

On December 18, 1970, a nuclear weapons test was conducted in an underground shaft at the Nevada Test Site. The test, code-named Baneberry, was detonated at a depth of about 900 feet.
