Don’t be too quick to accept that friend request, you could be in for more than you bargain for. One of my social media accounts is public, so anyone can follow me and I’ll usually follow them back. Usually it’s pretty harmless, but if that person immediately messages me, I take it as a huge red flag, and I will examine their account. A lot of the time it’s just spam, but in this case it looks like it could have been the start of a romance scam. Not on my watch, jerk.

When you start seeing your breath in the early morning hours it is a sure sign that fall is just around the corner and summer is coming to an end.
Fall is a beautiful t ice to be outdoors. The changing colors of the aspen trees adds a burst of golden color to the mountains.
Brown trout and brook trout spawn in the fall. The males will develop brighter colors and, in some cases, hooked jaws (kypes). Fishing for these species should pick up soon. It is a good time to perhaps hook into that lunker brown trout that yo I’ve been trying to catch. Read More

Welcome back to Ramdy Baker, who vacationed for a month in Europe. Winners this week were Jerry Morzzinski, Cliff Rudy and Jerry Fleming. Next week’s games will be part of the District 17 Sectional Tournament at Clubs. This competition includes players from Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and West Texas, all playing the same hands in their local clubs.

Recently, my wife and I were walking west on the north side of Central in Los Alamos. Traffic in both directions was heavy. I noticed that a compact car was trying to make a left-hand turn near Fuller Lodge. The car had been there for some time, and there were about 5 or 6 cars backed up behind the car.
