Rocky Mountain Outdoor Writers News:

Rocky Mountain Outdoor Writers and Photographers plans a conference in Los Alamos Tuesday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 6, with headquarters at the historic Sheriff’s Posse Lodge.

Activities include writing and photography workshops and field trips to area attractions including Valles Caldera National Preserve, Bandelier National Monument, Puye Cliff Dwellings and a walking tour of downtown Los Alamos.

There will also be showings of photo contest winners, photo and writing critiques, and a tribute to the organization’s founding 50 years ago.
