PAC 8 To Hold Media Classes Over Fall Break Oct. 9-13

PAC 8 News:

PAC 8 Community Media Center will be holding its media classes over fall break Oct. 9-13.

“The classes have been very popular over summer and now that we have this new fall break, I hope students will be interested in taking the classes then,” PAC 8 Executive Director Jean Gindreau said.

Two sessions will be held:

Session 1

  • Oct. 9–13, 9 a.m. to noon
    • Beginning/Intermediate video for 4th-8th graders. Camera techniques, special effects, lighting, green screen, music production and editing in Adobe Premiere.

Session 2

  • Oct. 9–13, 1-4 p.m.
    • Go Pro Video and Drone Photography and Videography for 4th-8th graders
      Time warp, time lapse, slow mo, live burst with GoPro. Drone flying skills, drone regulations, flight maneuvers, how to get good drone footage with DJI Mini 2 and Autel Evo drones.

Class size is limited to six students per teacher. Sessions cost $155. Scholarships are available for families with two students in the same class.
