The National Nuclear Security Administration, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Los Alamos County, and the U.S. Forest Service will hold a public information meeting on the area’s trails, 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Fuller Lodge, 2132 Central Ave.

FBI: Mescalero Man Pleads Guilty To Sexual Abuse

ALBUQUERQUE – A Mescalero man pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual acts with a minor.
According to court documents, between December 2019, and February 2021, Deverne Torres, Jr., 45, an enrolled member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe, performed multiple sex acts with Jane Doe, a minor who had not attained the age of 16.
Torres pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor. At sentencing he faces up to 15 years in prison.

Registration Open For High Flyers Summer Gymnastics Camps Running June – August

Your kids will jump for joy at High Flyers summer gymnastics camps. Ten weekly summer camps are offered starting June 1 and continuing through Aug. 7. The camps cater to potty-trained boys and girls ages 4 through 11.
No former gymnastics experience is necessary.
Camps are available on a weekly or daily basis and run from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Each week offers a different theme that incorporates gymnastics instruction and active play, a theme activity, and outdoor games.
