Charlotte Ann Lee passed peacefully on June 17, 2026, with her beloved husband Gary holding her hand. Charlotte was born on February 13, 1943, in Shreveport, LA to King and Bessie Overton. Charlotte grew up in West Monroe, LA and married Rex Carter on July 9, 1962. Their daughter Terri Kay was born on February 4, 1964.

Final Public Hearing On Water Rate Adjustments Is June 30

A second and final public hearing for water rate adjustments will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, both online and in person at the Los Alamos County Council meeting in Council Chambers at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building, 1000 Central Ave.

Announcing the exciting return of the community Independence Day Children’s parade and Carnival in White Rock, NM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Upcoming Lane Closures On I-25 Near St. Francis Drive

NMDOT News:

SANTE FE — As part of the upgrades on I-25 from NM 14/Cerrillos Road to US 285/El Dorado, lane closures are expected to take place beginning June 25 for guardrail installation.

There will be two closures northbound near the St. Francis exit, and one southbound in the same location. Each closure is expected to last no longer than 46 hours.
