SummerFest is the first of several events happening at the Los Alamos ski area this summer and one of Pajarito’s biggest events of the year. The June 10 festival includes the New Mexico Craft Brewfest, two live bands, a downhill bike race, mountain bike poker run, lift-served hiking and biking, a disc golf tournament and more.

SummerFest begins at 9 a.m., June 10 with the downhill bike race and lift-served hiking and biking. The New Mexico Craft Brewfest features more than a dozen local brewers including Bathtub Row, Santa Fe, Taos Mesa, La Cumbre and more.

The beer garden is open 1-6 p.m. with a $20 entry fee which includes a souvenir glass and a beer (there are no ATMs at Pajarito). Live music will be available starting at 12:30 p.m. with reggae band Mondo Vibrations, alongside special guest LA Jazz Project.

The cafe is open 1-5 p.m., June 10. ACT Shuttle will provide free transportation 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Los Alamos High School to the ski area every 30 minutes.

SummerFest is just one of several mountain events featuring live music and beer gardens. Throughout the summer, the Los Alamos Ski Club hosts multiple “Beer and Band” events, featuring local breweries and musicians. The Beer and Band schedule will be announced soon and posted on www.SkiPajarito.com.
