Paul Geimer Is Top Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Paul Geimer was 5 seconds off his predicted time for top predictor in the weekly pace held out on Barranca Mesa using the Deer Trap Mesa Trail. Geimer was also the best finisher in the 3.6-mile trail distance with a time of 24:05. Other accurate predictors were: Aurea Rojas with a 13 second differential; Edith Acosta at 36 seconds off; Ryan Smeltzer recording a 37 second difference; and Eric Anderson at 63 seconds off his predicted time.

On the 1-mile paved course Felix Candia was the first finisher at 10:27 and Denise Robertson was the top female with a time of 12:01.

On the 2-mile trail run 12-year-old Levi Gibson was the first finisher at 18:37 and Maddie Harms was the top female with a time of 22:12.

Adrienne Herrick had a time of 32:24 for first female finisher on the 3.6-mile trail distance.

Next week’s race will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 23 at East Park on East Road (State Route # 502) next to the Animal Shelter. 1- and 3-mile paved courses will be available.
