The White Rock Branch Library will host the Peanuts Movie at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12 in the multi-purpose room.
In the animated movie, Snoopy embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch nemesis, while his best pal Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home to win the love of his life.
The Free Family Friendly Film series is pure entertainment for the younger set, and provides a comfortable environment for parents and kids alike.
Family movies are shown at the library each month during the school year, but once summer is here, they’s be shown every Thursday, June 9 through July 28. The movie schedule for summer looks like this:
- 6/9: Book of Life;
- 6/16: Cinderella;
- 6/23: Shaun the Sheep;
- 6/30: The Secret World of Arrietty;
- 7/7: Inside Out;
- 7/14: Jack of the Red Hearts;
- 7/21: Kung Fu Panda 3; and
- 7/28: Zootopia.
The summer movies in White Rock are just a small part of the Summer Reading Program that is created each year by the Los Alamos County Library System. The theme for this year’s program is “Read to the Rhythm.”
