PEEC News:
The community is invited to join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Bee City Los Alamos, 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 for the dedication of the new Bee City Los Alamos Pollinator Demonstration Garden on Bathtub Row.
The garden is designed to support the health of bees, butterflies and other vital pollinators utilizing native plants that are of special benefit to pollinators, and that are suitable for home and municipal landscapes.
This special event will feature remarks from community leaders, a ribbon cutting ceremony, garden tours, and fun activities for all ages.
This event is open to the public. Families, nature lovers and community members are encouraged to attend.
Come learn more about how to support pollinators and enjoy the beauty of the new garden. The garden is on Bathtub Row behind the Extension Office and next to the Better Ehart Senior Center. Due to construction, attendees are encouraged to park in the Central Park Square parking lot and walk over.
