Personnel Board Chair Terry Priestley briefed Council this evening on the activities of the Personnel Board. Council leadership has requested that each Board/Commission chair make a presentation to the Council once a year focused on what has been completed and what they are currently working on, and what challenges or opportunities they see coming up in the future. Priestley explained that the purpose of the Personnel Board is to serve in an appellate and advisory capacity in the administration of the County personnel program. The Board also may act as an appellate body to hear personnel complaints. The board has five members including Priestley, Vice Chair Beth Honea, Leslie Geyer, Felicia Orth and Lisa Zuhn.
