Pinchetti Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News: 

Valerio Pinchetti was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly pace race held Tuesday on the Rendja Canyon Trail off Range Road. He was 8 seconds off his predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were:

  • Deana Tsang with a 14 second differential;
  • Conor Galvin at 18 seconds off;
  • Lynn Bjorklund recording a 21 second difference as well as the first finisher on the 1 mile paved course; and
  • Zach Medin and Jan Velechovsky tied at 27 seconds off.

On the 1 mile:

  • Brian Newnam was the best male finisher on the paved course at 15:16.

On the 2 mile trail distance:

  • Teddy Atkins was first recording 26:00; and
  • Lisa Johnson was the top female at 27:20.

On the 3 mile trail course:

  • Paul Geimer was the best finisher with a time of 20:18; and
  • Madeline Harms was the first female finisher at 27:35.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 and will start at Pinon (Rocket) Park in White Rock on Sherwood Boulevard across from Smith’s. 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
