Los Alamos High School 2012 graduate Peter Priedhorsky on one of the main streets of the medieval town of Sermoneta, Italy. Sermoneta occupies a hilltop overlooking the Appian Way, south of Rome. Like many medieval towns, the space inside the walls is packed with structures, and is so steep that the streets are stairways. Priedhorsky is traveling around Italy with his parents.
