PURGATORY News:
Purgatory Resort has announced extended operating hours for lift-accessed mountain biking this summer. Purgatory is hosting Sunset Shred sessions exclusively from 4-7 p.m. Fridays giving mountain bikers more time to enjoy some of Colorado’s best terrain throughout the month.
Purgatory’s Bike Park features a wide range of trails suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to competitive riders. The park serves as the gateway to more than 400 miles of high alpine singletrack and backcountry trails in the San Juan Mountains.
The Sunset Shred sessions are offered at a special rate, providing exceptional value during these exclusive Friday evenings. For $25, participants will receive three hours of lift-served mountain bike access from 4-7 p.m., an offer equivalent to a half-day ticket, normally priced at $39.
The Sunset Shred sessions represent Purgatory’s commitment to enhancing the guest experience and making mountain biking more accessible. Notably, children aged 12 and under can take advantage of free unlimited mountain bike uplifts with the Power Kids pass, the only season pass in North America offering unlimited free skiing and mountain bike uplifts for kids, with no purchase necessary or blackout dates.
