Register Now For Reverse Engineering Pizza Party

BSM News:

As part of this year’s ScienceFest, the Bradbury Science Museum is hosting a Reverse Engineering Pizza Party for fourth through sixth graders.

The event is 12:30-3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Los Alamos Time Out Pizzeria at 1350 Central Ave.

Last year, the Bradbury Science Museum set up a booth full of old electronics at the Next Big Idea festival and let kids (both the young and young-at-heart) disassemble and destroy them in the interest of learning how things worked? It was SUPER fun and one of the most popular things the museum has ever done. Well … they are at it again! Except this time, they are turning it into a workshop for 4th-6th graders and providing Pizza.

Students can sign up now for one of three 45-minute sessions that include a kick-off with pizza and a discussion of the world of mechanics, and then get hands-on to learn by taking things apart!

This event is limited to 10 participants per session and advance registration is required. Parents are required to be present during the workshop and should register each child individually: REGISTER HERE.
