Los Alamos Schools Credit Union CEO/President Matt Schmidt cuts the ribbon, held by David Hampton and Chamber Director Sandy Jones this afternoon, to celebrate the Phase 2 grand opening of Los Alamos Co-Op Park at 1010 Central Ave. Community volunteers and cooperative representatives have worked closely together, joining forces with generous donors, to develop and maintain this community space and event venue. Phase 2 accomplishments include a new shade structure, enhanced lighting, and a state-of-the-art sound system, making the space ideal for musical performances, events and social activities.
