Rough Pavement Alert For Holiday Weekend

NMDOT News:

SANTA FE — Due to technical difficulties at the plant supplying asphalt to the repaving project on I 25, the contractor is unable to repave a 1-mile section of the project that has already had its top layer of asphalt removed today.

This will result in rough pavement northbound between mile marker 279 (one mile north of Cerrillos Road) to mile marker 280 (2 miles south of St. Francis Drive) over the weekend until the situation can be corrected Monday June 19.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation and Brasier Asphalt Inc. apologize for the inconvenience. NMDOT also encourages motorists to use caution, obey the posted speed limit, expect delays and plan accordingly.
