SANTA FE — Santa Fe Community College and the Santa Fe Higher Education Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
No classes or activities will be held, and no other student services will be available. The college’s childcare center, Kids Campus, and gym, the William C. Witter Fitness Education Center, also will be closed. Both campuses will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 16, which is the first day of classes for the SFCC spring semester.
The William C. Witter Fitness Education Center will reopen at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 16, beginning its new hours for 2024. The fitness center will now be open 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mon.-Thurs., 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The pool opens on the same schedule and closes at 7 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and at 1 p.m. Saturday. The fitness center is closed Sundays.
