The Santa Fe Concert Band (SFCB) will present its annual Father’s Day Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 15, in Federal Park at 100 S. Federal Place in Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe Concert Band will celebrate dads everywhere with music from:

• The Music Man; South Pacific:
• The Magnificent Seven; and
  
• Works by Leonard Bernstein, Shaiman, Wittman, John Philip Sousa.

The Santa Fe Concert Band, comprising about 50 local volunteer musicians, offers free concerts throughout the year. Its origins date back to the Civil War era (1865). In 1983, it was formally re-incorporated under the directorship of Greg Heltman, who has been conducting it ever since. He is also known for founding the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra and was its executive director for 34 years.

Admission is free. Donations are appreciated.
