Santa Fe Pro Musica continues its 40th Season’s Orchestra Series Nov. 6-7 at the Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe.
Conductor Mei-Ann Chen will lead the Pro Musica Orchestra in a program of works by Reena Esmail, Haydn and Tchaikovsky.
The concerts begin with Reena Esmail’s Teen Murti, three tableaux that blend elements of Indian and Western musical cultures. Violinist Bella Hristova then performs Haydn’s effervescent Violin Concerto in C Major, and the performances conclude with Tchaikovsky’s romantic Serenade in C Major.
Santa Fe Pro Musica is proud to present conductor Mei-Ann Chen and to program compositions by Reena Esmail as part of its Women of Distinction Initiative.
