Santa Fe Symphony News:

Santa Fe Symphony has announced the 2024 Annual Concerto Competition. All young orchestral and choral musicians between 14 and 22 years of age are encouraged to apply.

This competition is open to instrumentalists in high school and college who play a symphonic instrument and can submit a YouTube link to a videoed performance of themselves playing a 5 to 7 minute classical concerto work (Sorry, no piano submissions at this time).

While the application fee of $20 is due at the time of application, if you are unable to pay, please do not hesitate to submit your application as soon as possible. Applicants in need of assistance with application fees, please email competition@santafesymphony.org.

Eligibility

• All applicants must be residents of New Mexico.
• Applicants should be orchestral or choral musicians. (No piano.) If you have any questions, please email competition@santafesymphony.org.
• Applicants must be available to participate in the in-person finals round, as well as the rehearsal and performance listed above for their division.
• Applicants must provide their own accompanist for virtual and in-person rounds, if possible. If you are unable to provide an accompanist, please still record your audition without and submit your application!
• Audition videos should be between 5 to 7 minutes in length uploaded to YouTube.
