Santa Fe Opera Presents ‘Marriage Of Figaro’ July 4

The Marriage of Figaro will be at 8:30 p.m., July 4, at The Crosby Theatre at the Santa Fe Opera. Total performance time is approximately 3 hours and 18 minutes, including a 25-minute intermission.

Book a comfortable round-trip ride from several pick-up locations in Santa Fe. The early shuttle arrives in time to attend our Preview Dinner or the first Prelude Talk. The late shuttle arrives 30 minutes prior to your performance.

You’ll find a welcome podium near the Box Office, staffed by our friendly Overture Program volunteers. They’re available two hours before each performance to help you with directions, dinner info, show details, accessibility and more. 

Parking is free in lighted lots adjacent to the theater. Parking lots open 3 hours prior to the performance. Please be patient, courteous and cautious as you exit. Follow the directions of the parking staff for everyone’s safety. Important: Vehicle alarms which activate during a performance will be disconnected.

Dining Options

  • Experience the fun of this Santa Fe Opera tradition! Bring your own or enjoy one of our delicious Tailgate Picnics. Choose from a range of Starter and Dinner Tailgate Boxes. Tailgate Picnics must be ordered by 3 pm two days in advance. Tailgate Picnics are prepared and presented by Walter Burke Catering.
  • Enjoy an opera-themed buffet dinner at our open-air cantina on the beautifully landscaped grounds. During dessert, a speaker will offer a brief introduction to the evening’s opera. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle. At $79 a person, a Preview Dinner is a great way to kick off your night at the opera! (More Information)

A road map for your evening’s performance; the prelude talks are complimentary to ticket holders and are held in Stieren Orchestra Hall twice before most performances. The first talk is given two hours before the performance, and the second is one hour before.

All performances take place in an open-air theater with a roof over all seating areas. Evenings can be cool and/or rainy. The temperature can drop 10 to 20 degrees between the start time and end of the performance. Don’t forget to check the local weather before heading out!
