Scenes From Aspen Tiger Paws For A Cause

The Aspen Tiger Paws for a Cause Pet Care Club {Grades 2-5} learn to care for different types of pets, like dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, and even a bearded dragon! Guest speakers come in with their pets to teach about them. Paul Sena from the Los Alamos Animal Shelter, comes in to teach how the Animal Shelter cares for pets and helps our community. He shares information on how Club members and others in our community can volunteer at the at the Animal Shelter. One club member went through the training and is now a volunteer. Club members painted pet rocks and sold them to 3rd graders in December and raised $112 to donate to the Los Alamos Animal Shelter’s nonprofit group for their emergency fund.
