HPC News:
HOPE Pregnancy Center celebrated 25 years of serving Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico with a Chocolate and Chuckles event Saturday night at Crossroads Bible Church.
More than 150 community members were in attendance and enjoyed desserts, participated in a 26-item raffle and laughed together with Comedian Nazareth and his brand of clean humor.
“We’re incredibly excited our first Chocolate and Chuckles was such a success,” HOPE Executive Director Kim Ferguson said. “Our goal for the night was to offer a space for fun and fellowship while supporting HOPE and we exceeded our wildest expectations. We’re happy to offer Chocolate and Chuckles as an annual event and are looking forward to next year with a theme of ’Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory’.”
Chocolate and Chuckles was sponsored by Yeamans Machine Shop, Southwest Office Solutions and the Stahl Family. Proceeds from the event support the programs and services of HOPE.
