LAPS News:

Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) welcomed 3,762 students in PreK through 12th grade back to school this morning.

Students and families were greeted at school sites in Los Alamos and White Rock by teachers and other staff members.

“Staff and students are happy to be back in school,” Interim Superintendent Jennifer Guy said. “We are looking forward to a great school year.”

Elementary schools dismiss at noon today and Friday. Before school programs at the elementary schools will begin Monday. Parents can enroll students to attend before school programs 7:30-8:30 a.m. each day.
