LAPS News:

More than 3,700 students enrolled in Los Alamos Public Schools headed back to class Wednesday for the 2023-2024 school year.

“It was great to see students back at school today, ” Superintendent Jennifer Guy said. “There was a lot of energy and enthusiasm. It is going to be a positive, productive year.”

Students were greeted by staff at all school sites. This was the launch of a new lunch program, which provides free breakfast and lunch for all students. School sites are working on establishing best practices for distribution and ask that students and families have a little patience and understanding during this transition.
