Scenes Of Modular Home Headed For Tsikumu Village

One half of a modular home makes the turn onto Trinity Drive this afternoon transported by JR Theroux MH Services, Inc. heading for Tsikumu Village on Sioux Street. Because the load on the transport vehicle is too tall to go under the pedestrian overpasses in front of the Los Alamos High School, the transport vehicle detours up Trinity Drive to 48th Street and back down to Diamond Drive on its way to Sioux Street. The modular home will settle on this foundation in Tsikumu Village. The second half of the modular home is scheduled to travel beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday along the same route. At 7 p.m. Wednesday the transport vehicle will bring the frame on the same route in reverse to take it off the hill and down to Albuquerque. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
