The No Quarter Doubles Disc Golf Tournament is set for 10 a.m., Oct. 12 at North Mesa Disc Golf Course in Los Alamos.
Registration deadline: Oct. 10
Advanced Division: $35/team (Female, male, mixed)
Amateur Division: $25/team (Female, male, mixed)
Minimum 3 teams per division.
3 Round, 9 Hole format of play:
Round 1: PPD (PLAY YOUR PARTNERS DISC)
Round 2: BEST SHOT
Round 3: BEST HOLE

Los Alamos Youth Leadership (LAYL) hosted the hotly popular event in the Sullivan Field parking lot Monday evening.
The Los Alamos Fire Department kept everything cool as the LAHS football team, students, teachers, coaches and community members roasted s’mores, listened to music and participated in Topper spirit.

Hilltopper Football Coaches; Players to Reminisce 1972 Season
Hilltopper Football … The Season of 1972
What a special season this was; in many ways unprecedented compared to seasons before and after.
The team was not loaded with players of exceptional talent but with players highly motivated and believing that giving 100 percent effort would result in success—success ultimately defined by an undefeated 10-win regular season and the District 1AAAA championship.
People interested in revisiting this season or wanting to learn more about it will have that opportunity 3-5 p.m., Oct. 4 at Dixie Girl Restaurant and Bar, 1789 Central

Los Alamos Youth Leadership (LAYL) is proud to bring the community the annual homecoming bonfire at 7:30 p.m. today in the Sullivan Field parking lot.
Everyone is welcome to stop by, support the football team, and roast s’mores while enjoying a nice evening full of music and Topper spirit. The event won’t go past 9:30 p.m. and the Los Alamos Fire Department and Chief Troy Hughes will be standing by, to ensure everyone’s safety at the bonfire.
Spirit Week Events:
- Monday: Crazy hat and hair day, 4:30 p.m. JV Football vs. Hope Christian at Sullivan Field, 7:30 p.m. Bonfire
