The Family YMCA’s Ed Griggs Memorial Strong Kids Golf Tournament is Saturday, June 15.
Check in and games begin at noon and 1 p.m. kicks of the Shotgun Start/Scramble.
Participation in this annual tournament helps 80 youth attend the Y’s summer camp and after school program, and assists 174 adults and children to have access to healthy programs and activities at the Y.

Get ready for the 28th Annual 3-IN-1 Golf Tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico.
This fun golf tournament is actually three games in one. The first six holes are a scramble, the next eight holes are a low gross low net and the last four holes are a scotch foursome.
Participationwill help fund the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico’s after school and summer programs. If you cannot participate this year, we hope that you will consider sponsoring a child.

Girls’ Soccer Tryouts and Summer Training Opportunities
SPORTS News:
The Los Alamos High School Girls’ 2013 Soccer Program will hold tryouts at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at Sullivan Field.
Players must have a physical after April 1, 2013 (they will be good through the 2013/14 school year.) Forms may be picked up at the LAHS Athletic Office (663-2531) or they may be found at https:////lahs.laschools.net. Make sure that you print all of the forms. Make sure that all the necessary information is filled in and that all signatures are received. The earlier the forms are turned in, the better.
