LAHS News:
Come out and join the LAHS Girls and Boys Basketball Teams as they kick off the 2012/2013 season with the annual Green and Gold Game.
When: 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15
Where: Griffith Gymnasium
Activities: Welcome and Intro of all High School Teams, Boys Inter-Squad Scrimmage, Free Throw Contest Sponsored by HBA and Girls Inter-Squad Scrimmage

LAHA News:
Sunday, Nov. 11 at the Outpost Ice Arena in Albuquerque, four ice hockey teams composed entirely of girls from New Mexico, including two teams from Los Alamos Hockey Association (LAHA), came together to play a two-game series.
This is believed to be the first time four all New Mexico girls teams have played each other in one day.
The LAHA U12 Girls fell to the NMIce U12 Girls. The newly formed LAHA U14 Girls squad was bested by in-state rival New Mexico Mustangs U14.

YMCA Youth Basketball Sign-up Underway
FAMILY YMCA News:
Registration is now open for the 1st through 6th grade YMCA Basketball Program. The format will be a little different this year:
1st and 2nd grade remains co-ed; 3rd and 4th / 5th and 6th will be girls and boys teams only.
Teams will be assigned based on the elementary school where the players attend.
Homeschoolers and out-of-district students may choose the location most convenient for them.
Practices kick off twice a week after Thanksgiving at local schools. Games will be Saturday mornings in January and February with locations to be announced.
