YMCA Fall Adult Volleyball League Registration Underway

FAMILY YMCA News:
 
The Family YMCA is taking registrations for the Fall Adult Volleyball League.
 
Games will be 1-4 p.m. Sundays Oct. 7 through Nov. 18 at the YMCA, 1450 Iris St.
 
This is a casual 4 on 4 co-ed league for ages 16 and older. Price per player is $20 or $15 for Y members.
 
Get some friends together, choose a captain and witty team name, and come down to the Y to play some fun volleyball matches.
 
Scholarships available thanks to The Family YMCA annual fundraising campaign.

Bob Weeks Top Predictor in Weekly Pace Race

ATOMIC ROAD RUNNERS News:
 
Bob Weeks was only 3 seconds off his prediction at Tuesday’s pace race.
 
There were many good predictions in the weekly Tuesday pace race in Pajarito Acres. There were 28 people who competed. The course was a fairly-flat one mile paved-loop mainly on Estante Way.
 
One could run any number of loops but with a requested predicted time of 45 minutes or less. All distances from 1 to 5 miles were done. Most did 1 or 3 miles.

Los Alamos Singletrack Assoc. Hosts First Time Trials

The Los Alamos Singletrack Association (LASA) held its first mountain bike time trials Wednesday evening. A course was setup northwest of the Diamond Drive/San Ildefonso Road roundabout.
