With global attention focusing on London for the Games of the 30th Olympiad, a parallel competition of superlative ability has gone largely unnoticed.

Some of you may know me as just a unicyclist around Los Alamos. My name is Maxwell Schulze and I grew up in Los Alamos and graduated high school in 2010.
I have been unicycling for around eight or nine years and in January 2010, I traveled to New Zealand for the 2010 15th annual Unicycle World Championships known as UNICON XV.

Ribbon Cut on North Mesa Disc Golf Course
Los Alamos County Parks and Trails Division Superintendant Jeff Humpton cuts the ribbon to the entrance of the North Mesa Disc Golf Course Saturday. The Los Alamos County Parks and Recreation Dvision held the ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the newly renovated North Mesa Disc Golf Course. A tournament was held after the ceremony with participants from Los Alamos, White Rock and a few non-locals. Registration is open for this year’s Los Alamos Family YMCA Soccer programs.
UK Soccer Camp for ages 4-16 is July 30-Aug. 3.
The six-week season for Fall YMCA KinderKick Soccer for ages 3-4 and 5-6 starts Aug 27.
