LAHS Boys Basketball To Host Playoff Game Today

SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos High School boys’ basketball team will host the Moriarty Pintos in a District playoff game tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Griffith Gym. Start time is 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.

Tickets for this game must be purchased in advance through GoFan at https://gofan.co/app/school/NM13898. There will be no cash or credit card sales at the door. Passes will not be accepted for any post season game.

Concessions will be available. Cash and credit cards are accepted for concession sales.

Toppers Fall To Pojoaque Elks 46-58

The Los Alamos Toppers hosted the Pojoaque Elks Friday night in a conference game played in Griffith Gymnasium. The Toppers trailed for most of the game and the Elks pushed ahead to win 46-58. The Gym was at capacity for the exciting game with both teams’ cheerleaders rooting for their teams, and the Topper Drum Line added to the excitement. Toppers Fall To Elkettes 35-37

The Toppers traveled to Pojoaque Saturday afternoon to play a Conference game against the Elkettes in Ben Lujan Gymnasium. The Toppers trailed for most of the game but managed to tie the game 32-32 at the end of the 4th quarter, prompting overtime during which the Elkettes made their shots and won 35-37. This week the Los Alamos High School Hilltopper boys have a basketball game at home and the boys and girls Track and Field teams have away games in Roswell. The boys also have a baseball game in Albuquerque.
