The Los Alamos Topper football team traveled to Albuquerque Saturday to play a conference game against the Valley Vikings played in Milne Stadium. The Vikings had strong first half but faded in the second half and the Toppers pulled ahead to win the game 47-10 which brings their record to 9-0.

The Charette Lakes, Clayton Lake, Maxwell Lake 13, Morphy Lake and Laguna del Campo will close for the season Friday, Oct. 31.
Streamflow on the Rio Grande has been dropping now that the floodwaters from Southern Colorado have subsided. Stream flows just a week ago were over 1,000 cubic-feet-per-second at Taos Junction Bridge and at Embudo. Stream flows Sunday (Oct. 26) was 376 cubic-feet-per-second at Taos Junction and 461 at Embudo. The streamflow at Cerro near the Colorado border was 276 cubic-feet -per-second.

The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper Girls Soccer Team won a conference match against the Taos Tigers Tuesday afternoon on Sullivan Field. Here Dayja Fellers takes a shot and scores in the first half. Scoring for the Toppers in the match, Gracie Haagenstad had 2, Dayja Fellers 1 and Margaret Steinkamp 2.
