LAHS NJROTC Seeks Community Support For 3rd Annual ‘Til Valhalla Run

The Los Alamos High School NJROTC will host the 3rd annual ‘Til Valhalla 5K and Fun Run starting at 8 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 13 at Sullivan Field. Last year’s run raised more than $7,800 to support Mission 22, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing veteran suicide and promoting veteran mental health.

Toppers And Huskies Play To A Tie
The Topper soccer Team played host to the Hope Christian Huskies in a nonconference game played on Sullivan Field Wednesday afternoon. The game had a 30-minute lightning delay and at the end of regulation play the score was tied 1-1. This prompted 2 overtimes and the contest ended in a 1-1 tie. After 50 years of service to the children and families of Northern New Mexico, Los Alamos School of Gymnastics has closed.
The organization began in the late 1970s. Maureen Hudson (a Los Alamos Public Schools PE teacher) ran a tumbling class in her backyard with a strip of mats, inspiring the love of gymnastics.
