Los Alamos High School Hires Nestor Trujillo as Head Girls Basketball Coach

Los Alamos High School has hired Nestor Trujillo as its new Head Girls Basketball Coach.

Trujillo comes to LAHS from Espanola High School where he served as the Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach. He also spent 10 years as Head Boys Basketball Coach for the Northern New Mexico Flight AAU program. He was a volunteer talent scout for the Northern New Mexico College Men’s Basketball Program.

The results for the Atomic City Runners Pace Race held July 8 are as follows:
 
Three runners in the 2.8-mile race had almost perfect predictions; Nikol Strother missed by only 1.5 seconds, Nick Parra-Vasquez by 2 seconds and Katie Gattiker by 3 seconds. Many runners were within a minute of their predictions.
