Saturday’s Ed Griggs Memorial Scramble Results Announced

YMCA News:

The Los Alamos Family YMCA held its fifth annual Ed Griggs Memorial Scramble Saturday at the Los Alamos Golf Course.

Seventeen teams braved the gusty winds and warm temperatures. This event topped the $100,000 mark in fundraising over the last five years.

Eight Teams Compete at Los Alamos Petanque Tournament

Alex Kirk Enters Fourth Week of Team Workouts

Los Alamos native and former UNM Lobo Alex Kirk begins his fourth week of team workouts this week after deciding to forgo his senior season and declare for the NBA Draft.

Kirk, 22, graduated in May from UNM with a business degree. As of today, he has worked out for eight teams including the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz,

Hilltopper Football Conditioning Workout Underway

HILLTOPPER News:

All Los Alamos students interested in playing football are encouraged to attend the Strength and Conditioning Workout this summer Workouts 8-10 a.m. Monday through Thursday, June 9-July 25, with makeup sessions/open gym 8-10 a.m. Fridays.

Those participating will be in the weight room 8-9 a.m. and on the field 9-10 a.m. for conditioning and fundamentals. Bring cleats to every workout.

Topper Football Car Wash 9 a.m. to Noon Saturday
