Los Alamos Golf Teams Host 2025 Fall Tournament

The Los Alamos High School Boys and Girls Golf Teams played host to the Fall Invite Golf tournament Monday at the Los Alamos Golf Course. The three-team tournament featured teams from Albuquerque Academy, St. Michael’s High School and Los Alamos. New Mexico Offers Up To $80K In Loan Relief For Rural Veterinarians

SANTA FE – New Mexico veterinarians can now apply for up to $80,000 in student loan repayment through a new state program aimed at expanding animal care in rural communities. 

The Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program, signed into law this year by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, offers debt relief to veterinarians who commit to working in underserved areas for at least four years. Applications opened Oct. 1 and will be accepted through 11:59 p.m.,” Nov. 1.

Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) has announced that Los Alamos High School (LAHS) has been ranked No. 1,131 in the Nation among the 2025-2026 Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report.

As often happens, a bill died in the last day of the 2025 session when time ran out and what died just might be our roads. But legislators and the governor have a chance to fix it, make our roads safer, and save thousands of jobs.
In average years, the legislators fund road construction and necessary road maintenance to the tune of $200 million. In this year’s session back earlier this year, there was only a $65 million allocation – for maintenance alone, leaving the state’s road construction and maintenance fund short by $135 million.
