WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Forest Service and the Boone and Crockett Club signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) underscoring the importance of sustaining outdoor recreation opportunities with a particular emphasis on public access for hunting, angling, wildlife conservation, habitat stewardship, and conservation education.

‘The Arts Of Democracy’ Mobile Museum Exhibit Visits Libraries Throughout New Mexico This June

This June the Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum brings its exhibit, “The Arts of Democracy in New Mexico” to libraries across the state.
The exhibition honors the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and highlights ideals of freedom and self-government and how they have been expressed in art forms, particularly in New Mexico.
Visitors can see the exhibit and participate in hands-on learning activities at public libraries, as well as a few community events, for free.

Wednesday a Valencia County judge entered a temporary injunction against the Republican Party of New Mexico, its chairwoman and treasurer, and the state’s RNC committeeman.

LAS CRUCES – On May 25, 2026, two children were abducted by a non-parental man in Missouri. An Endangered Person Advisory was broadcast to law enforcement and media in Missouri for the children.
On May 26, 2026, a lead was sent by the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Western District of Missouri to the District of New Mexico to help locate the two abducted children, and to apprehend the alleged abductor, Ralph Jones Jr., who is wanted by the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri for kidnapping.
