PEEC News:

The Los Alamos Nature Center invites families to an exciting evening exploring the world of bugs and creepy crawlers from The Santa Fe Reptile and Bug Museum.

This special event will take place at 6 p.m. today, June 19.

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with live critters at different stations throughout the Nature Center. Santa Fe Reptile and Bug Museum Founder Wade Harrell will be present to answer questions and share fascinating insights about these intriguing animals.

“We’re thrilled to host this Summer Family Evening dedicated to exploring and appreciating some of nature’s most unique creatures,” Nature Center Executive Director Jillian Rubio said. “It promises to be an educational and fun-filled experience for visitors of all ages.”

The Santa Fe Reptile and Bug Museum is a nonprofit organization committed to educating the public about the diverse and often misunderstood world of reptiles and insects.

Summer Family Evenings at the Los Alamos Nature Center are held at 6 p.m. every Wednesday in June and July. Admission is $0 for member families and $5 for non-member families, payable at the door.

This event is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Del Norte LOV Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Del Norte Credit Union, which is sponsoring Summer Family Evenings in 2024.
